Accessibility

One of the best aspects of the Costa Blanca and Costa Cálida is the excellent infrastructure allowing great accessibility. Through the region runs the A-7 highway from Malaga (Andalucía) all the away to the French border. There are also many smaller roads which are built well and are almost as quick as the motorways. The international airport of Alicante has excellent connections to practically anywhere. The San Javier airport (10 min from Murcia) provides a lot of direct cheap flights to almost anywhere in the UK and to the rest of the Europe. The new international airport in Corvera will be ready in a few years.

From Murcia or Alicante it is also easy to take a bus or train to travel within Spain. Nowadays public transportation is quite good: buses are new and non-smoking, and in trains films are shown on long distance trips.
